Front Caliper Removal Procedure 700

Hello,

I need to remove the front left caliper on my my 1989 740Gl with ABS and Bendix brakes, before I unscrew it from the line is there anything I should know? I don't want to damage any other parts especially the master cylinder. Is it as simple as unscrewing the line?
