This month's maintenance is to replace the Hoses and antifreeze. Decided not to invest the time in looking for something to match the special volvo blue/green coolant and just pay the dealer $20 for a gallon.
The Parts guy says they only sell 1 kind. Once I left I noticed it said "Ethylene Glycol" and it looks like plain green Prestone. Was it always like that, or is this a Ford innovation? Is there something with the amount of silicates, or am I confused and just threw $15 extra bucks to the dealer's profit?
