I'm a firm believer in using synthetics whenever and wherever possible. Been using AmsOil for years on end, and I'm a dealer, FWIW. Today, I changed out my tranny on my car, and just got back from a test spin. Oh, how sweet it is! The shifting is smewth as a hot knife through melted butter!
However, I noticed the speedometer acting very strangely, i.e., waving all over the place, at 65 or thereabouts registering only 50. Don't know if the odometer is messed up, too, but would any of you 'experts' have some idea what's causing the speedometer slippage, other than the synthetic ATF?
Also, now I'm running synthetic from engine through tranny to the rear end. TIA
