auto trans shift selector sloppy 200 1992

Someone said I need to replace the rubber? part in the automatic gear shift selector since it is very loose when selecting a gear, hard to tell you are in D or N or another. I didn't see any info in Bentley or the other book. Can any one tell me what's involved? Part to purchase?
