As per the thread I started below, I gave my car a tune up in an attempt to help it pass emissions tests.

I replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and air filter.

I also changed the oil.

So I put everything back together the way it should be, and now the car refuses to turn over. It cranks, but won't fire.

It will crank, and then it sort of "puffs". It's almost as though the car is coughing, and a small black cloud of smoke comes out the tail pipe when it does it's puffing.

I double checked all the above stuff (wires, cap, rotor, plugs) to no avail.

Any ideas?
