I have been having issues with a hard shift from 1-2. It seems like my brick would stay in 1 up to 50-60 kms/hr. Revving really high. Then clunk into the next gear. I've had this problem since the dealership replaced the kickdown cable. They also overfilled the fluid. Here's the kicker, it only does it after driving for about 15-20 mins and not all the time ( maybe every second time I've stopped). Been doing this for about 6 months now.
Yesterday I decided to disconnect the kickdown cable and no more problem. The thing is I dont know if I've masked a sticky valve issue or the cable needs adjusting.
