of course many of you do, thats why i am asking!

i wish to advise my daughter and her young family on a new/newer volvo purchase.

she grew up in 240's, 740's, 940's and 1 nefarious 960!

i cannot persuade her to stick with tried and true. so i appeal to the board who may know of any newer volvo models from 850 or later i can with a happy conscience suggest she consider.

1. i prefer NON interference engines for obvious reasons.

2. other than that any models with good grapevine scuttlebutt for durability and quality

i am stuck in a time warp which does not extend beyond 1993-4 where volvo is concerned.

all replies will be appreciated.
