85-240 faint idiot light flicker 200

OK, I just replaced a regulator/brush assembly on my alternator yesterday because my system was not charging. The replacement fixed the problem.

Today when I was driving I noticed a momentary flicker of all of the idiot lights. It lasted about a second and the lights came on very dim.

Could this be caused by the new brushes "settling in"?
