Hi guys

Could someone please tell me the exact length of the brake hose. A recent check on my cars(PV544) left brake hose revealed that during full lock, the front tyre has rubbed the rubber off the brake hose, just revealing the metal mesh(there is no brake fluid leakage).

The garage man says it needs to be about two inches shorter to get full clearance from the inside of the tyre. What length exactly should the brake hose be.

If i have new ones made up, i dont want to shorten it too much for obvious reasons. Could it be the wrong brake hoses have been fitted.
