Rear seat removal 140-160

I'm looking to replace the rear speakers in my '74 144, and it looks like the wires run under the rear seat. Neither Clymer's or Chilton's have anything about the seat removal. I know my friend's Maxima just uses plastic snaps, but I figure it's not so easy for this application. I can't see any attachment points inside the car either. I know I'm probably just overlooking something. Any help would be appreciated.
