All in primer now plus speedometer question 120-130

I finally finished stripping all the paint off my 63 122s and now have it all in primer. I plan to do the body work myself, a little at a time.

My Speedometer question concerns the trip meter. I found the nob to reset it, but although it will move the numbers, it will not reset to zero. It is like it is bound up. Is there any way to service this? Thanks in advance for any help.
