940Turbo Natural Gas Conversion 900

Hi all! I was wondering if a ยด93 944 Turbo could be converted to work with natural gas (not gasoline). Gasoline prices are soaring high in my country, whereas natural gas is a new alternative promoted by the government. I believe England also has natural gas, so I was wondering if anyone has a turbo running on natural gas. What are the disadvantages of such conversion? Are there special considerations to be made? Any light would be highly appreciated, as I know next to nothing on the subject.
