b230f running rough help me please! 200 1992

Hello im new to this forum but have been reading the posts quite a bit...
My wifes 240 volvo the other day started playing up...
It normally runs like a dream...
but the first hot day this year >30 degrees c was a bad day...
She filled it up with petrol and 5 minutes later it was running rough.
It now runs fine for very short periods of time and then it runs bad again.
It has a very bad flat spot under accereration and sometimes will not idle at all.
regardless as to whether it is hot or cold (engine temp that is)
Ambient temp here in melbourne at the moment is about 15-25 degrees c most days
Things I have tested.
Ive replaced plugs and leads and rotor button and cap
Ive removed and cleaned throttle body and air valve and put back on.
Ive cleaned the oil flame trap thing that blocks up and blows the rear main oil seal(grr)
Ive drained fuel tank and replaced fuel filter.and put in fresh fuel.
Ive replaced the intank pump as it wasnt working.???dont know how long for...
Ive run the diagnostic test on the computer to check rpm sensor/injectors/air valve /throttle position switch/(drive/neutral/brake switch)/air con compenstion etc..
I have reset the computer on terminal 6 and 2and looked for fault codes
I keep getting fault code 2-3-2* which is apparently:
Fuel trim (lambda control) too lean or too rich at idle
If too rich: high fuel press., leaking injector- various driving problems.
Could someone please elaborate on this please.?

When driving along it runs with hesitation... then it dosent/then it does.
At idle it runs goood sometimes and rich as hell other times.. just depends on how it woke up....
Unfortunately I dont own a presure gauge... Is now the time to buy one?
Or do I do remove the injectors and see if they are leaky/blocked?
Im going to do a fuel delivery test to check the pump output tomorrow.
Im kicking myself for not doing this when i drained the tank...grr.
I have another pressuer regulator of another 240 but its off an earlier model ( the model that has the diaphram on the computer card (on innner gaurd) and the air bleed screw on the throttle body.My wifes car does not have this inner gaurd computer or air bleed.
Could i try this or would it be set up for a different pressure.
Any help would be much appreciated...
