EGR tube removal? 900 1994

HI All
In the process of changeing an exhaust manifold gasket I have to remove the EGR tube from the rear of the exhaust manifold. I have gotten the stainless nut loose
but now cant seem to pry the stainless tube from the manifold. It looks like it may extend 1/4 to 1/2 inch into manifold(more precisely into the nut which attaches to manifold). Isnt this just a flanged type connection? Shouldnt I just be able to pry/wiggle this out now? I have had it soaking in PB Blaster overnight.
