New Water Pump -- Stupid Small Leak 200 1980

OK, I have replaced numerous water pumps on 240's over the years with absolutely no problems or issues, but this one is driving me a bit batty. New original Volvo pump and gaskets installed on 1980 B21F a couple of months ago. No leaks. However, when the ambient air temperature drops to below 50-degrees, and the car sits out overnight, there is seepage and a very minor leak from the top rubber gasket where the pump contacts the head. I replaced the new gasket with another new one, but it still does it. No leaks when the car is warm and running, or even when siting overnight with warmer ambient temps. Obviously, the seal is not as tight as it should be. What is your favorite method for holding the pump in contact with teh head while tightening the bolts ? Thanks.

Mike
