how do i test the turbo gauge? my 91 944 turbo has 160k on it. when it is idle, no boost the gauge does not go far left. when the car is started the needle only goes 1/4 way from the left. on my friends 765 turbo it goes far left when the car is started. the car runs fine but there is oil leaking from the cbv and there is also the famous hole in the turbo hose( the amm to turbo one) i read that it usually happens too these cars. how do i test the gauge? where can i get the turbo hose new and how do i prevent it from getting a hole worn in them?
