The right side of my hood won't open. The left is fine. I've tried the advice in (hood latch won't open the hood 900 - "steve"), with no luck. The hood release cable seems solid, and I've tried loosening it, tightening it, and holding the housing in each position (pushed and pulled, so to speak).

I'm having trouble visualizing how this works on the left hand side, but not on the right. Can't even see the path to squirt anything in it and hope for the best.

What's the easy part I'm missing here?
