Who knew? 90 degree 700 series hood. 700 1989

I never thought of sitting down and completing a cover-to-cover read of my Volvo Owner's Manual. Well, insomnia will drive encourage that!

I learned a few things:

1. Alternator belt breaks, 4 Accesory lights come on–NOT just one.

and

2. By turning small levers on each of the hood latches, the hood will elevate to almost 90 degrees!

I've had the car for 2 1/2yrs!! I suspect I'm the last Volvo owner in North America to realize this but it's VERY handy.
