I'm thinking ahead - planning on a complete dashboard refurbishment as part of my winter to do list. I will need to pull the entire dash, then reinstall. The manual is a bit vague regarding the necessity of taking the windshield out. Is it possible to remove the dash without windshield removal? Or is it that much easier without the windshield in the way that I should just take it to a shop to get the windshield taken out?

Any advice, as always, sincerely appreciated.
