Hello, I have a 85 740 that is running very rough. It is spitting and sputering until you rev it in park past 2 to 2,500 rpms then smooths out. it also does this in drive and smooths out as rpm and speeed increase. I replaced the fuel pump and filter 3 months ago, ecu and mass flow sensor. It is almost as it is miss fireing. I am going to check the cap, rotor, wires and plugs. What else should I check! I all ready know about the wireing harness issue and this one looks fine, even under the sheathing. It has been garaged and has 120k miles on it.
