puddle of water on my drivers side (winter) tray mat?/ Thanks for earlier post!!! 200

Hello all,
I found a puddle of water on my floor mat yesterday , before my wet shoes entered. My dash is not wet, windows were up, what could be the issue? the carpet is also wet up above the tray mat toward the front of the car. Is this going to be a big problem, Ive read some posts...windshield leak, or firewall leak.....if one of these is the culpret is it going to be a big fix? How many $$$$$ to repair? And is there something I can or should do to dry it up? Is there any wires, etc. around that area that I need to be concerned about until I get it to my mechanic.(On vacation till end of Oct.)
Thanks in advance!!!!

And I would like to thank you guys for your comments on the 46k 245 for sale. I will keep my 91 245 SE with only 160k,(love this car),I cant imagine getting rid of her,due to a couple of extra miles that she has.....LOL. The gentleman (mechanic) that I use is a really nice guy and also has a Volvo graveyard....over 300 cars, and has a quite a few that he has serviced since new, or close to it, He has an 86 245 turbo(perriwinlke blue), that he said he will sell me for a second car(as he has told me I should store the 91 for the winter)I dont even know the mileage on it(learning it doesnt matter) but he has taken care of it since it was a pup....So I think I will take him up on that one and with the money I saved the two 245's can have a happy life!!!!And hopefully the 91 245SE can look good much longer if she is kept out of our Ohio snow and salt!!!

Thanks so much
