Brake Rotor Quality 200 1992

Does anyone have any experience with OEM Volvo Front Brake Rotors (Vented) vs. Brembo Rotors? I need to replace my front brakes and I'm looking to balance quality with expense. My mechanic recommends Brembo rotors as a decent OEM replacement. But they're only slightly more expensive than what appear to be pretty cheap rotors from China. Whereas the Volvo rotors are slightly more expensive. I'm willing to shell out if there is a significant quality difference. Thanks for any advice.
