240 to 140 seat belt swap??? 140-160

Anybody have any knowhow on swapping seat belts from a 240 to a 140? The belts in my 140 are all frayed and knotted, spring is shot inside I think also. Is there a way to keep the 140 console but just replace the belts and housing? Thoughts.....
