I've been having to drive my '86 245 about 700 miles/week for the past year and a half and i'm starting to have some suspension worries. 30 minutes of my commute each day is on very hilly county roads and this is when i notice the problem most... Whenever I come over the crest of a hill and the front end of the car has the weight off of it for a split second it feels like one (if not both) wheels are wobbling really badly. it's a pretty violent shake that just doesnt seem good to me.
I've had the wheels all balanced again this past week and when they did this I also had them shove around one all the front suspension parts...tie rods ball joints...bearings, etc. to see if anything felt loose. They said everything is very solid with no play in any of the parts. This is what I had hoped since this past year I replaced both tie rod ends, inner rods, ball joints, and repacked the wheel bearings.
So what is left up front to shake like that only when the weight is off the front end??
Any input would be great.. I reallly dont want to have a huge problem on my hands with this long of a commute each day, Thanks
