Dear Volvo Team,

Am Prasad Marimuthu, would like to seek your advice on the weird problem am experiencing with my Volvo.

Am driving Volvo 940 GL (Non-Turbo), manufactured year of 1995, got it second-hand.

Here is symptom or I would say issue notice recently

Issue Found
Drivability
- Am seeing the engine has been rougher especially driving during the days. More ever, when the engine in rough mode, the engine started to consume more petrol. You may feel the gear engagement during the rough state become extremely slow and you may feel engine noise is too high
- However, these change if you drive at night. The engine become so smooth, no noise, gear engagement is smooth and the drivability no longer rough, you may feel want to drive more.
- Personally, I felt there is something wrong somewhere within the sensors but am not sure because this problem happens to seen intermitterly. Therefore I would like to seek your advicee/expertise to narrow down the root cause of this and hope you could help me to resolve this issue.

Change To NGV, instead of Petrol
- This is not an issue, but I would like to share and looking forward some review/feedback whether it’s possible to change NGV.
- This because the cost of petrol in Malaysia is expecting/forecast to go up, therefore am looking at alternative since most cars, like BMV/Mercedes have this option available.
- Please advice/feedback/give me your sincere recommendation whether I should proceed with adding this feature to my Volvo940 GL.

Meanwhile, as of now, this are parts being replaced in my car recently, (about 3 months ago)
- Timing Belt – Complete set with other belts, aircond
- Spark Plug
- Engine Oil
- Automatic Transmission Oil
- Radiator Cooler
- Idle Valve

Pending parts to change
- Power Steering Fluid
- Brake Pad/Brake Oil
- Suspension Front/Back

Also I noted my steering slight heavily am not sure whether there is problem with Power Steering Pump, since its has no leak but slightly the oil level was when down but to to extend of the Min but its more likely at below the Max line.

Hence, I noted recently, it happens once in while, that the emmission like appears in the dashboard for while, and once I press the fuel it goes off. But this happen very rare.

Hope with above description, you may able to guide me thru on the troubleshooting to resolve all the issue I have shard out with my car.
