122 fuel filter/pump question 120-130

Hi,

Just a quick question....I was looking at the fuel filter on my 122 w/b20 engine while it was idling, and noticed that it is not full of fuel when the car is running(only a bit of fuel at the bottom), and that there are big air bubbles coming onto it from the fuel pump, and leaving it. The filter has about 1500 miles, and looks pretty clean.

Normal, or not normal?
