I started my 89 244 up this morning, it was rather chilly and frost was kickin around.
I let it idle for about 2 minutes before I drive it around the corner to teh coffee shop (not taking it past 2 grand) I park at the shop, leave 'er running and get my coffee, when I get back in my car it's nearly at normal operating temp.
Well today when I got on the road after the coffee shop I gave it some gas and the RPM's would kick up to 4 grand for half a second and totally die out. I couldn't go faster than 50km/h and it was surging n crap. really started to piss me off cuz I wouldve been extremely late considering I wouldnt even be able to drive on the highway and get to work on time.
I popped teh hood and revved the motor with the throttle with my hand it revved smoothly and fine. So i'm like hmmm? it doesn't seem to be gettign gas when I step the peddle down.
so I turned the car off, and then back on and waaalaa! it worked.
What the hell is up with that?
