NO SPARK WHATSOEVER.......HELP!! 120-130

A 1967 122S automatic that's having trouble! The engine cranks but there is no spark at all. I've checked the battery. All the connections are good . I also took the car out of park to start her in nuetral, drive and reverse, in thoughts it might be the linkage. Still the same....ANY IDEAS?? What role does the ignition switch play in remembering that there is NO spark, anything make sense with that? also, how about the coil? thanks for the help...Lynn
