Brake linings for 444 444-544

Recently , the font brake linings on my 444 let go. They are the bonded type. I would like to replace them with the riveted type. Has anyone done this? Is it practical or possible to drill out the existing shoes to accept the rivets. Or is there someone out there that could rebond (and grind) the pads for me.
Any advice would be appreciated,,,,,,,,,,,,Thank you in advance,,,,,,,,,,Sgali
