I bought a new clutch from a guy at the IPD swap meet last year. It seems like I verified it as the right unit at the time. Installed it in my 445 project. I,m using a B-20 with the bellhousing from a 63 B-18 544. Yesterday when I was hooking up the linkage, I realized that the outer end of the clutch fork is way too far back. From what I can see, it looks like the fork is properly engaged on the throwout bearing, so I,m guessing that the pressure plate assembly is too shallow. Is there anything that I might have done wrong during assembly or do I just have the wrong clutch? Hard to say which is worse.
