OD won't engage on 89 245 200

Hi all,

My OD just decided to stop working on the freeway the other day, had just been idling for an hour or so waiting to cross the border. The arrow OD off indicator light came on and just stays on. I tried bypassing the little switch in the shifter handle and that didn't fix it. Anyone suggest a troubleshooting plan?
