bluecar's last moments 200 1980

Call it intuition.

The bluecar is dying. Besides the gear being shot, there began a rattling noise from the engine. It sounds like some little tin drummers are inside.

The mechanic who heard this said that a new engine is in order. This was deduced by the noises, and by the fact that, in his words, "it eats more oil than gasoline" (2 liters for 200 km).

So the blue car bids you all farewell. Thank you for all the help.

One last question before I go:

What to do with this car? Do any of you think that it was just an especially bad car? Do you think a a second chance is in order with another Brick (there are a lot of still good parts in this volvo), or is it so long volvo for me?

Fading away into the sunset (unless there is a public outcry),

Gadi
