Wire identification/ harness replacement 200

I have been replacing the wiring harness on a 83 245 this past week. The wire I have a question about is not with the harness. Its a yellow wire that comes off the vacume thing near the wiper motor. I don't have the same thing on the 86 (w/ airconditioning). Its the plastic circular thing about 2 inches in diameter. I somehow broke the yellow wire that feeds off of it. I have no idea where it went before it broke.

If anyone has advice on the routing of the harness. I took the line to the ECU through the intake manifold's farthest to the back opening (the one I took out went between the intake and the firewall) and then the next opening moving towards the front I put the wiring to injectors and the black multi grounds. I believe I read some time in the past that the yellow wire going to the sensor could be extended and the harness moved to the rear away from the flametrap. Thats where I'm headed at the moment having to extend that wire. Although my 86 routing seems to head down the front side of the flame trap. Its got me wondering what I should try and do before the throttle goes back on. They don't look all that different, its a volvo brand harness.
