Speedo gauge 900 1992

My speedo is dead. So is tachometer, and odometer.
What component failed ? I don't want another cluster with incorrect milleage.
One should be able to replace the bad component.
Something overheats causing needle to drop to zero few minutes into driving.
Another glorious design....high 5 !!!
