Rear interior and door lights out, others are fine ?? 900 1991

Hi,

Strange situation with my parent's '91 940 2.0 Turbo. All things electrical in back passenger area seem to have quit working.

- If you open up a rear door the dome light won't come on.
- The courtesy light (rear ashtray light) doesn't work.
- The door lights (red safety lights on side of door) don't work.

All these have worked before, but suddenly... kaput!
All other lights do work however (front doors engage dome light, have working side light, the trunk's lit, dash is lit,...)

I checked the fuses but they're fine. So what now?

Any ideas anyone?
