Vacuum hose diameter from flame trap 200 1986

What is the correct ID of the vacuum hose that goes from the nipple of the flame trap to the intake manifold. My old one was loose and the one I got from the local parts store sold by the foot seems sort of loose too. My original had a fabric like cover and the replacement one is a regular rubber vacuum hose.
