Tony H started me on this re-wire the taillight thing.
Ok 91 rear taillight wire colours differ from everything I have. The 91 only has the driver rear fog lamp wired from factory using a purple wire in #7 pin on the driver light assembly. It traces right back and plugs into the switch on the dash and works fine. On the passenger side I have a socket and bulb in place using a white/purple wire that feeds it in pin #1. This white/purple wire is not live. I have traced it through the trunk lip and past the driver side light. I figured it would jump to the driver side assembly but no no! I can trace up the driver side trunk wall past the aerial harness and off into the harness abyss. I cannot find where it enters back into orbit. Does anyone know. Is there a relay? Is it tucked behind the cluster or is it in the wall-o-wires in the engine compart? My Haynes book shows it connecting with the purple and no relay... but where?
