There was a good thread a few months ago where several folks complained of rattling noise from a specific brand/type of new rear shocks. I have been searching the archive to no avail.

That was probably just one bad batch, but I am shopping for shocks for the back of my '91 245 and don't want to take a chance.

KYB? Blilstein Touring/Heavy? Sachs/Boge? Other?

Shox.com appears to have really good prices for sets of four. I shudder at the thought of doing another set of brick struts, but mine are original at 245k miles, so I should probably do the front as well.
