I have a chance to buy an 1800ES need some tips 1800

Got a chance to pick up an 1800es. Don't know the year. Know nothing about them except that I love the look. Have a 240 and love that too. Brickboard rocks. Have had nothing but great info from the site.
What might i look for, for problems. Known problems/easy fixes, catastrophic problems rendering it useless. I have zero histroy on it.
It is pale yellow with a black racing stripe down the middle of the passenger side. It is in Canada. I think it is in KM so must be originally from here. Land of corrosion so susceptable to rust. Where should i look for bad news?
Any idea of $$
Comments really appreciated. Don't want to buy a boat anchor!
