The manuals I have for cars with the B18/B20, including the green books, show various SVOs for lifting the engine/tranny combo. Many use the rear exhaust manifold stud and the two 3/8” tapped holes at the front – one in the head and the other in the block. Before I go ahead and make a set of lifting brackets, emulating the SVOs, I thought I’d ask the members of this forum about lifting brackets/straps. What have people used and would recommend?
