I was at a gas station and as I was reversing I guess my left-side rear tire hit a very high curb (about 6" high). I don't think it actually went over the curb head on because the curb was pretty high and was at a right angle to the pavement and jumping it would have made the car slam down on the pavement that would be noticeable. Then again, the fact that the curb was pretty high would have stopped the car and prevented it from going over it (unless I was going at a high speed, which I wasn't). I think the tire rubbed against the curb, yet I don't see any rub marks on the sidewall or scrapes on the rim. The thing is that I did notice a sorta big "bump" feeling. I know if that happened to the front tire I would be a bit concerned about alignment. Is there anything I should be concerned about hitting a curb with the rear tire? It felt like it hit it hard yet I see no rub marks and I don't think the tire actually met the curb head on.
