Brake line wrench size/type question 200 1986

While I'm doing a complete brake overhaul on my 351K mile sedan, I figured I should also replace the brake hoses. Is there a special wrench I should be using or do I just use my metric open ended wrench that fits that fitting nut?
Some how, I recall reading in the past that that isn't a good thing to do.

Thanks for your input and advice.
