Hello All,
Have a happy thanksgiving, and be especially thankful (I know I am) to all the people on the brickboard who offer their time to help you and me. Some of these people have learned through countless hours of tough work, ready to pass their experiences on to us. Others have special interests and talents that are anxious and willing to share their knowledge with us. I'd like to offer a tip I've learned:
I'm not sure when (I'm guessing at '90), the 240 line dropped the underhood light. It's a mercury switch and I think a 10w bulb with assembly that is especially easy to hook up that mounts on the rear edge of the hood. The JY's are loaded with them and since my 93's never included this light, I have hooked them all up on all. While you're in the JY, pick up some wire sheath, and the clips to make a first class job. You can obtain power from a little auxiliary box near the battery, and Radio Shack sells fused connectors.
Happy Thanksgiving all,
Marty Wolfson
