'91 940 Rear defrost malfunction 900 1991

Hi,

My parent's 940 has got a malfunctioning rear-defrost system.
Upon inspetion of the windshield, I can't see any flaw in the heater"lines" (yet hard to see: very thin waves in the glass).

Any ideas on how to get to the cause of this (switch works BTW) or on how to get to the power cables for the system?
