Best tool for removing floorpans? 200

I'm going to do some patching on my 245's floorpans soon. The gameplan is to go to the pick and pull and cut some good sheetmetal from the floors of a '92 or so 240 to use as donor material. That way, it will be the proper shape, etc. I understand that the later models used galvinized metal to discourage rust, so I figured this would be the best way to get good metal. When I get the panels, they will be trimmed to fit and welded in.

Anyway, there isn't any power at the pick and pull, so I'll have to go cordless. My options are to buy either a DeWalt 18v grinder and use a cutoff wheel or to buy a DeWalt 18v recip saw to harvest the panels.

Any ideas on which one would be better? I think the metal is only about 16 ga. or so.
