spark plugs and PB Blaster and some pertinent tune-up question 200 1989

So I was at Wally World (please, no Marxist socialist criticism, hehe) the other night and got a can of the famed PB Blaster for the preparation of a tune-up job. I've done some research here on the FAQ and also on Google and it seems that people recommend applying a spritz of PB Blaster on the plugs the night before removing the plugs. Do any of you guys do this to your old plugs? If so, how much PB Blaster should I apply--liberal amount or just a quick light spray--and how? I'm surprised that the can does not come with a straw to attach to the spray nozzle. I'm afraid to splatter this stuff on places other than the plug area.

Should I remove the plugs when the engine is stone cold, or should I start the engine, let it idle for a few minutes just enough that the head warms up and expands but not long enough that the plugs will heat up and expand too? I'm a bit wary about plug removal because the first time I did a tune-up, which was about two years ago, I cross-threaded plug area #1 and eventually had to take it to a pro to fix that...ugh, but that's another story. Also, I didn't use anti-seize on the plugs (I was ignorant then). This last tune-up was done about two years ago, if that helps in the assessment of the current plug conditions in the head.

How should I approach the removal of a plug from an area that has been tapped?

I got my Kingsborne wires and am awaiting my Bosch cap and rotor from FCP. I'll most likely use Bosch Super plugs and will apply some dielectric grease on the ceramic part of the plugs and on the stalks of the cap where the wires plug onto.

So key questions: PB Blaster on plugs--yay or nay? and remove plugs when engine is COLD or remove when WARM?
