Hey guys - I do not understand the charm of reusable air filters! 444-544

I was tempted to post this in another thread, but I did not want to hijack it.

I really do not understand the appeal of reusable air filters .

Volvo put a nice paper filter in my 855R and Lawn Boy used a washable foam filter on my lawn mower.

I really do not grasp how so many people can think that they can get optimum filtration and/or performance out of a filter that they prepare themselves.

Can you guys enlighten me?
