I've finally hunted down some e-code replacement headlights for my 240. Yay!
While I hunted them down, I looked into some other options. Now I'm thinking that more light is better, right? (so long as it is well aimed, and not obnoxious to other drivers, and preferably legal).
I found a pretty good deal on Hella FF1000 auxiliary driving lights, and was wondering if anyone has experience in installing them, and or general thoughts on whether this is $100 well spent.
My initial thoughts on them is: they should produce more, safe (easily focused to not glare oncoming traffic) light, Hella has a good manufacturer reputation, and these are pretty serious lights, not sparkley junk to "look cool".
Yes, I love the look of the 240, and yes, having extra bug-eyes on the front will make it look funny, but bug-eye extra lights look less tragic than a deer in the grille (the look my car sported last winter).
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
