To all,

There is someone on Turbobricks.com who has located a supplier to produce a limited run of 240 (242/244/245) outside window scrapers for a decent price. As our cars get older, these scrapers become brittle, crack and ultimately do not seal well against the window (yes, water will seep through). Scrapers are expensive from the dealer (242 probably long since unavailable). They are easy to install. If interested check out Turbobricks.com, "group buy window scrapers" in Mech forum - there appears to be a lot of interest...
