1990 740 GLE wont go into overdrive 700

As of recently my 740 GLE wont shift into high gear. I can push the overdrive lockout switch on the gear selector and the arrow will appear on the dash. When I push it again, it will disappear, just like it should, but the transmission wont go into high gear. HELP. I had the fluid flushed about a year ago at a local shop, no problems since until now. I have also tried a partial fluid change with some additive and changed the filter this week, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
